Alta Badia

Michelin-starred skiing in the Dolomites.

2h 05m
London → Alta Badia

The Dolomites are a different kind of mountain, and Alta Badia is the way in. Pale limestone peaks, long traversing pistes, and a set of mountain restaurants that hold actual Michelin stars. It is, to the surprise of most British skiers, possible to eat your best meal of the winter halfway down a red run.

We fly here because Italian skiing is the answer to a question most of our members haven't thought to ask. Because lunch is a sacrament, not a pit stop. Because the Dolomites are owed at least one winter weekend.
