For six days in September, the two harbours of Cannes fill with everything that floats and matters, tenders to fifty-metre flagships, moored bow-to-stern so you can step from deck to deck. It is where the season's launches are unveiled and where the people who own this kind of thing come to see what's next. The rosé is incidental.
